In short: Great scenery and fast course but tough nonetheless
In full: Weather made for a good race but to describe this as flat isn't exactly true, no major hills but a couple of smalls climbs made for interesting running. My major gripe was the course length, my Garmin measured 13.37 which totally threw my pacing out. Looking at my watch at 13.1 miles and seeing the finish line in the distance was not a nice feeling. I would expect a couple of metres diffence but not 400 metres. Still got a PB but that's down to more training and definitely think Cardiff is the course for speedy running. Scenery great but would agree with comments about being mentally tough watching the speedsters going the opposite direction when you can see you're not turning for a quite some time. Would do it again but I'd be more prepared next time. No problem with the car park for me in and out in a jiffy but we were very early!!

In short: Great atmosphere, great route, great race in general....
In full: This was my first competitive race and I absolutely loved every minute of it. The crowd were fantastic and the course is super fast. I managed to finish 10 minutes faster than what I was expecting. I now have a PB that maybe tough to beat for me. Can't wait until next year but I have the London Marathon to contend with first... Fantastic race which could convert the non-runner into a running geek!! As it has done to me...
