In short: Great PB potenital when the weather is good. In full: What a great setting, and spirits only slightly dampened by the weather. Great PB potential. It's a lovely park run and the organisation was ok, though one of the distance markers seemed to be some way off. Date of review: March 6, 2012
In short: Great scenery and lovely location In full: Thanks to the organisers for putting on the race. The bananas and oranges before the race were great. The start was a fair distance from the village hall and there were few spectators out on the course but those out there were pretty vocal which helped. Date of review: July 4, 2011
In short: Great scenery but tough hills - great last long run before VLM In full: Many thanks to the organisers for this fabulous event. A welcoming tea to start the day was much appreciated as were the tea and cakes at the end. The course is tough but beautiful. The jelly babies at Mile 17 were much appreciated! I now feel ready for the big one in 3 weeks times.
In short: Tough but fair race - scenary beautiful In full: I really enjoyed the 10km race. The 2km lap worked well, though there was very little let up from climbing the 2 inclines per circuit. The muddy conditions made it tougher for me to get the downhill benefit. I'll invest in some off-road shoes for next year. Thanks to the organisers; the free tea and cake afterwards was well received! Date of review: October 25, 2010
