In short: good day out
In full: we had been warned about the hills and yes, previous comments had not been exaggerations...
Nice atmosphere during the race, friendly and supportive marshals.
The only negative point is that the water at the drink station had a terrible taste. The water in the finish was fine though and made up for it.

In short: smooth organisation, good day out
In full: How glad I am to have signed up for this despite the bad reviews from previous years! Nice scenery, hills that were not too bad, a lot of different things to smell on the way, friendly and supportive marshals and what I liked most: a warm welcome by the 'crowd' in the finish - exactly what is required for a good day out. Cannot confirm the shortage of toilets: I arrived just before the briefing and stood in the queue for no longer than 5 minutes. Might well do it again next year as a warm up for one of the fast course spring marathons

In short: Pleasant - after you found the venue
In full: We also had trouble finding the venue.
A slightly delayed 'mass warmup' before a delayed start caused cold feet that took three miles to become warm again.
Nice scenery, but the only animals I saw was a herd of black cows. Really beautiful ones, though, definitely worth the travel.
Friendly and warm atmosphere at the start and finish means that I would do it again. A big thank you to the organisers!!

In short: good race, brilliant goody bag!!
In full: a shirt!
a drinking bottle!
reflective ankle straps!
orange juice!
crisps!

I cannot avoid to note that the goody bag has been put together by people who know about runners' needs. Excellent! Thank you!

In short: zigzag through the city
In full: This is a flat zigzag course through the city, your support crew has several opportunities to see you running and cheer for you, and the atmosphere at the arrival is excellent.
PB potential? Certainly! I smashed my PB by 3 minutes compared to Goring 10K only a few weeks ago!

In short: Well done, organisers!
In full: A well organised event, a course on quiet country lanes, smiling marshalls, enough water stations, ... altogether a great day out! I would definitely do it again, even though the wind was indeed quite annoying on the first 6 miles today.

In short: If I say I would do it again - I MEAN it!!!
In full: Smooth organistion before and on the day, easy parking, great scenery, friendly and helpful marshalls, marsbar and isotonic drink in the goody bag, pretty medal, a new PB, a free hot drink afterwards.
Who cares under those conditions if it is windy, wet and cold. I do not mind skipping over puddles if everything else is making up for it. It is not the organisers fault if people queue in the starting area to finish within 45 minutes, and then have to walk when they hit the first hill. Grrrrr!!
I will come back next year anyway.
