In short: glorious weather, lovely setting with a big crowd cheering you home
In full: The organisers of this race have learnt from last years first running and taken it up a notch or two. The start and finish this year were much better organised with chip timing solving any issues caused by a start in the heart of a festival with double the number of runners this year. The route is scenic although run mainly through quiet shaded country lanes meant you didn't see much crowd support, the finish made up for that though and was certainly gave me a boost. A warning though as the girl next to me said when she saw the first hill at 6k 'thats not fair', I didn't tell her about the second one, still what goes up must come down and that gives you a speedy last couple of k to finish with. I set a pb here today but just to top off a great day. Friendly race well organised will definately be back next year.

In short: It's true what they say about the pb potential
In full: Very well organised race loads of friendly marshalls. Ideal race for a pb, beat mine by over 2 minutes, even with the famous wind it's flat and fast

In short: Very well organised with lots of first time competitors
In full: The organisation was excellent, loads of encouraging marshalls, transition was better than some bigger events and a cracking atmosphere with loads of local support. The bike and run courses were fairly flat meaning 24k on the bike felt like 20 and the bonus of a downhill run finishing stretch. For a first race at only £15 I think organisers ought to be very pleased.

In short: Excellent first running of the event
In full: Very friendly event with an unique start in a middle of a fair. Two challenging hills 2/3 of the way through make it a fair test with a nice slightly downhill finish. A commendable first running and any event which causes the formation of a new club and gets new people involved has got to be good
