In full: A brilliant run- low-key, simple but excellent and effective organisation, tremendous atmosphere and support all along the course. Nice touch to have names with numbers so people could call one by name. The course- magnificent- and I preferred coming back up the steps to going down them! Date of review: January 1, 2012

In short: A new year treat! In full: What better way to start the year? Despite its toughness, it's a great course through some wonderful countryside (if one has time to look around!)- very enthusiastic support from marshals and walkers on Box Hill. Good mix of serious and fancy dress fun runners. Nice touches are the soup and rolls (plus carrots) at the finish, long sleeve T-shirt, mug and medal, as well as a raffle- I cam away with a kg of cheese! Well done, Rob, your family and team of helpers. Date of review: January 2, 2009
