In short: Hard, especially from the hill at 22miles
In full: My first marathon and a tough one, I am told the change of route made it harder. Going well to 18miles then the undulations started to tell and the hill at 22 miles is a killer. Last 3 were tough. Well organised and a good day

In short: For a first race, superb, well organised, challenging course, good fun
In full: For a first race this was superb, good atmosphere and a great location. A lot tougher than expected, with stiles, ploughed fields, long grass and cow pats and plenty of 'lumps', forget the 'flat'. A few narrow muddy footpaths, it was all there. Will beback next year without a doubt, forget any idea of a PB!!

In short: Very enjoyable Sunday Morning, well organised.
In full: Entered as I was in the area for a wedding, but will be back next year as part of a weekend away. Course is not exciting going out, but back along the Tarka Trail by the river was good. Great organisation, great marshalls and very friendly. The band half way and the cakes at the end wrapped it up nicely!

In short: Tough 10 miler, but good organisation, great marshalls and good work by the scouts on the drinks
In full: Good race, long ups and steep downs, no flat to be found. Not for a PB but will make your next race better. Struggled after injury caused lack of training, but this got me back in to it. Will be back next year for a better time!

In short: Enjoyable morning, course is out and back on prom with a lot of public in way!
In full: Well organised race, a cold but sunny morning meant a lot of public walking on the course especially at the turn point. Would be a PB course but a strong cold easterly on the way back spoilt any chance.
But a good event building up to sopme tougher challenges later in year.

In short: Fast course with bad surface on some paths, had to watch feet!
In full: Good event, would have been better in morning, 1:30 kills whole day. Good marshalls and eveyone knows its flat so you push hard, makes the last 400 yards tough. Well organised, good field. Thanks
