In short: Another very good event.. In full: Simply excellent. The second Tonbridge Half Marathon was well organised, fun, and as many have said the support through Leigh village was even better than last year (and that was amazing as well!)
I regards to the course, it was challenging, but still fun and this time round easier as I'd done some proper hill training.
I managed to get round quicker as well, taking off 22 minutes from last years finishing time.
I'd strongly recommend doing this event, and will return next year.
Thanks to the organizers again. Date of review: September 24, 2012

In short: My first full marathon. In full: I loved this event. The course was very good, which I expected to be quite hilly, yet was just undulating.
The regular water and powerade stations were great. I found that the water pouches was really great and easy to hold and run with.
As others have already said the support from the people was fantastic, and in particular along Church road between miles 14 and 18 including someone who had set up some big speakers and playing some tunes.
Also thank you to the person who set up a stage and was playing some music in the power station area. It made this section a bit easier.
Finally, the run along the sea front seemed really long, yet still lots of support again.
Thank you to all the people who volunteered.

In short: My first Half Marathon In full: When I found out about this race, I was so pleased, as I've lived in Tonbridge for thirty years. It was an interesting and challenging route and the support from the marshalls and spectators was really good, especially in Leigh. With the hills this was a tough but very satisfying race to do. As my first ever half, it taught me alot about my level of fitness.
The free massage at the end was really gratefully received. Thank you to everyone involved.
I would say that if you are planning to enter this, I would recommend doing some hill training.

In short: Second year in a row In full: It was a good race. Its hard to improve your running time, as there is a long gradient at the start.
Its nice and challenging. I would recommend that anyone wanting to enter this event should do some hill training. Date of review: March 13, 2011

In short: A good fun course. In full: I really enjoyed this race and found that it used some similar paths to the Knole Park 10k that I did in March. It was still interesting as we raced in other area's of the Park and in opposite directions.
I've also found that I'm getting fitter as I was only a couple of minutes over my time that I set in March during the 10k race.
My time after 10k was 45 mins. This gives me a lot of confidence for future events.
Finally the medal was very nice and makes up for the lack of medal for the Bluebell 10k Race on the 25th of April.
If you are considering entering this race then go ahead. You will enjoy it. Date of review: May 12, 2010

2010 Bluebell Trail 10K

In short: A good fun course. In full: This was my second 10k after doing the Knole Park race in Sevenoaks last month.
The course was fun and challenging and I really felt the benefit of increasing my training runs from 1 per week to 4 per week in the weeks between the two events.
The last hill was hard but the relief of making it to the top was great.
There are a couple of things that have disappointed me though.
Firstly the lack of a medal for finishing and the promise of a free race photo from Sussex Sports Photography has not happened.
I'm not sure if I will do this event again next year despite the fact that the course was so much fun.

In short: A challenging first 10k In full: Knole Park is a very nice location and the course was challenging for a first timer like me. I will do it again next year, hoping that I can finish a bit higher. I find it a bit odd (and i'm taking into account the gun time and chip time) that my finishing position was different from what was posted up at the Leisure Centre. It would have been good if there actually been a horn or something to start the event.
