In short: Well organised and great support
In full: This was my second time running my local race. Prefered the route to last year - it was great running down Fleet High Street twice and the last couple of miles were better too, especially the down hill bit at the end! The marshals were excellent and the supporters were fantastic - they totally made the race for me! Will definitely be back next year.

In short: Great fun - I think this one will get better and better
In full: Having got a bit dispondent about not being the fastest runner around I wanted to inject a bit of fun back into my running. I think I picked the perfect race to do this! The fancy dress, beautiful scenery, wine, snacks and friendly marshalls all helped to make this a fabulous event. I think that as the race gets better known and there are more runners and supporters this event will get better and better. The kids had a great time while they were waiting for me too - there was plenty for them to do. The post-race BBQ and wine was good, if a bit long to wait but that's just a minor thing. All in all I had a great day! I will definitely be back.

In short: Great introduction to trail running
In full: My first ever trail race and I did feel slightly nervous when I turned up and saw lots of extremely fit looking runners! But beginners were made very welcome and there were enough people at the back for me not to feel lonely! The organisation was great and the marshalls were friendly and supportive. It has given me a really positive experience of trail running and I am keen to do more. I found it much more challenging than running on the road but much more rewarding. Will be back next year!

In short: A few challenging hills for a beginner like me, but well worth it!
In full: Really enjoyed this race, very welcoming and friendly. Uphills at the beginning of the race were pretty tough going, but the long downhill near the end was brilliant!
