In short: Lovely run around Wisley Common - despite the weather!
In full: A chip-timed, well organised event on a route that keeps you working much of the way around on a lovely course. If the wet conditions leading up to the race did not make it tricky underfoot, the torrential downpour with hail added in for good measure made this really hard going. Despite this, the jolly marshalls did a great job giving encouragement in conditions that would have been equally hard-going for them! Definitely one for the diary in 2010.

In short: The only event that can make a tough run fun!
In full: As ever, Dr Rob and his team provided a well organised event with a great atmosphere. A lovely but challenging course - I forgot how nasty that last hill and steps were! The sing-song at the start, great support from marshalls and spectators and the warm welcome back at the finish made for another worthwhile but tough run. See you in 2010!

In short: A gentle way to start the New Year .......
In full: Those hills and steps leave you dizzy after the night before - I'm sure I saw Dorothy, the Lion, the Witch and TinMan skipping down the hill .... As ever, great organisation and support from the marshalls who were terrific despite the cold. A great start to the New Year, finished off by warm soup and a long sleep on the sofa during the afternoon. Look forward to kicking off 2010 in the same way!

In short: Tough but terrific!
In full: As ever, a well organised race by Dr Rob with supportive marshalls and the atmosphere helped by other runners. The hills hurt like crazy but this run is about completing, not competing for most of us. A great challenge and look forward to 2009.

In short: I really like the spirit this race is run in - humour, support and everyone gets into the spirit of this fun but tough race. As ever, great organisation and look forward to starting 2009 off in the same way!

In short: One for the diary for 2008 to do again.
In full: A fantastic event as ever with some great touches (piper, post-race picnic, t-shirt with all runners' names). Thanks Dr Rob for putting on another terrific event. Did anyone mention the hills and steps ....?

In short: Well done to Dr Rob for organising another terrific event. Great marshalls, lots of support from other runners and the piper was an extra special touch! This run makes you hurt like hell but you will want to do it again next year.
