In short: A brilliant race, I prefered this to London Marathon. Undulating rather than flat, with a bit of grss as you run in/out of the race course. Good support along the course. Nice goody bag. PB potential. Would recommend. Well done Chester Marathon.

In full: Fantastic run. I don't think I would want to try and run the route flat out because it is a bit bumpy (so hats off to the winners) but as a training run at marathon pace this event is fantastic. Good friendly marshalls, and jelly babies on route. Nice T-shirt too. Nice atmosphere. Definately a run worth travelling to take part in. Thank you to the organisers, well done to the marshalls and spectators who stood out in some cold wind, and a big well done to everyone who took part. Good luck to all those I chatted to who are taking part in spring marathons

In full: Poorly organised. Marshalls were missing at a crutial turn at the end (luckily a septator realised and directed runners in the correct direction). Not very friendly, no facilities for tea/coffee etc. Prizes at the end were not awarded to the correct people. Overall diapointing, Possibly the worse organised and least friendly event I have done. Shame really, because a good course if you want a PB.
