In short: Unexpectedly cold day. Nice out and back course along the riverbank. A number of cattle grids, these were covered with board, but sme were shiftting and breaking up.The organizers say they will address this for next year.

In short: I've done this quite a few times over the last 20 years, and it's a good winter race. Quite cold today , and what with the bad weather recently my training seriously lost it's momentum, so I ended up with a pw for this event.

In short: Nice 10 miler. Deserves more support.
In full: I did this last year, and it was hellishly hot- in Octber! Nearly turned me off this year, but decided to have another go.It's a nice event, much hillier than I remembered.

Well organized, secured baggage an improvement from last year, as was the pre-race information, which included street plan of Sittingbourne showing where the venue was, together with directions on getting there. Technical T- shirt for finishers was of good quality.Sadly the event attracted less than 200 runners, certainly deserves more support.

In short: Lovely rural race. This year a bit hot for running comfort.
In full: I've done all of these since 2009,so I obviously think it's a good event.

Great scenery, surprised this year at how undulating the course actually is,the hot weather seemed to accentuate it.The warm weather was a bonus after the run, relaxing on the lawns with some food and fluid was very nice. The results seemed to take a while to be posted,Tuesday for a Sunday event?

Still, I'll look forward to seeing you all again next year.

Frindly, well organized event.

In full: Well organized by Nice Work as usual.Nice village atmosphere.Includes a tough hill to get your teeth into. I've done all 3,and have improved each year. Knocked 2:11 off of last years time.See you all next year.

In short: Still very good. But still tough!
In full: I've done most of these since 1990,the route has changed over time, the Waltham route is tougher than the original city centre/Petham one, but more scenic.Still a challenge, well organized by Nice Work.
Two minor points:it would be nice to have the year on the medal, even if only on the ribbon.
I know it's difficult to find suitable venues, but the HQ area seemed a bit shabby, maybe the grass could have been cut.It would have made it nicer to relax after the event.
But putting those little winges to one side, it was a great morning. So,a big thank you to Nice Work.

In short: Nice seaside jaunt.
In full: Well the weather was certainly better than June!

A nice small event, friendly atmosphere and no real problems.

Bag drop was provided in Nice Work's vehicle, unlike many events where you just leave it somewhere.

Public toilets were available, but a fair way away.

I couldn't see all the KM markers after 1KM, but maybe I was looking in the wrong place!

But I enjoyed it,it was a nice morning. These smaller events often have a nicer atmosphere than the huge high prestige ones.

So, thank you Martin, and everybody involved.

In short: Challenging but great event.
In full: This was my 4th go at this and as enjoyable as ever. The HQ is set in the lovely Mt Ephraim Gardens and the course is a very undulating one along quite country lanes.A particularly longish and arduous hill comes in at about 6K.

Very well organized with encouraging marshals along the way.

Usually the weather is very warm at this event, and just before the start the clouds parted to reveal the sun which was followed by heavy rainfall as the the last runners were coming home.A nice day out for all.
