In short: hard work but worth it In full: cracking scenery and challenging in places, the first 18 miles sailed by for me, probably due to navigating. i think my brain went a bit mushy after that and I had to really pay attention to the directions.

In short: another great trionium event - never fail to impress In full: I am still finding stairs a little tough to walk down, two days after finishing.
Great atmosphere, friendly runners, and a cut off time to get you thinking about running the first quarter at a fair pace.
I ran up most of the hills on the out, but walked up pretty much anything that looked like an incline on the way back - unless there were people watching! Date of review: October 26, 2011

In short: lovely hills In full: fairly long ascents - the first hill is the shortest but also the steepest.
This race combines sections of three other local races - the Knacker Cracker, Fetcham Fire station 10k and the Bookham 10k.
I really enjoyed it, and a lovely lady told me that i was third in the 15 mile race which spurred me on up the final hill.
remember - you might be a bit slower going up the hill, but you can be faster coming down. it's like a little free speed boost.
highly recommended, even though it was FREEZING Date of review: November 29, 2010
