In short: Fantastic race. Well organised. Closed roads - most of them. Flat. Fantastic goody bag with useful stuff!
In full: I loved this. Wonderfully flat so great for a PB - I managed it! Fantastic communication. Man behind it took the time out to reply to my mail after it - how good is that? Lots of on site parking. Great technical t-shirt, fantastic goody bag with useful things. Definitely in my diary for next year. Who knows - maybe another PB!

In short: Great once you get out of the housing estate!
In full: Lovely place to visit and a great race. Start was fine, fairly congested but whats new? Once out of the town, and the housing estate, was really nice nosey points. A good mix of uphill, down hill and flat parts. Only gripe is the finish. It was my first time here so didn't know the course. The end route is very sketchy and if you where in a world of your own (deep concentration trying to finish), you could of easily gone the wrong way. Congestion in the Market square at the end was also not too great. But. Saying that. I will be back to try and beat this years time!

In short: Hilly but fantastic for those with family supporters.
In full: Did the half last year and came back to complete my FIRST full marathon here this year. It is hilly, and it is a small race. But when you find someone to run with on the route they are very friendly. And because at some point you may not be able to see other people it spurs you on to cling onto anyone you meet for support / to chat too.
Lots of water / energy drink stations. Bit disappointed with the medal but hey ho.
I personally really really enjoyed it. I'm still smiling from the thought of crossing that finish line in well under my 5hr target.
