In short: Finally they get it right!!
In full: Better baggage, better marshalling, better organisation. Great Samba bands. Plus I ran a PB. So all in all a massive improvements. Really enjoyed it today. Well done.

In short: Like an Escher picture. Its a loop course, you end up where you began, having only gone uphill.
In full: Okay there is one steep downwards section at about 9 miles, but apart from that it feels almost all uphill, which is very odd.
Weather was perfect for me - I like it cold. The course was well marshalled and beautiful, but due to its rural setting, it still doesn't and in fact can't compete with Hastings in terms of support - where the whole town comes out for a HM - including old people who are wheeled out and bang away on saucepans etc. Rugby top is great - although I still like to get a medal to be honest. But a minor minor point.
All in all a great race. I will be back. I hope that the 50mph limit on the M1 is gone by next years race.

In short: Very well organised race with upbeat marshalls a great medal and brill snacks. Very Wet though!
In full: The Bexhill Runners know what they're doing it has to be said. This is a well marshalled, brilliantly organised event. Everything from the website to the medals and T-shirt are top notch. The split time announcements were encouraging. My only beef is that, and this is very subjective, I don't really like multiple lap races - and 4 laps is 1-2 too many laps for me. Its just the way my minds works - its the same when I train. Despite the flatness of the course I was over 5 mins off my PB, but I put this down to carrying an Olympic swimming pools worth of rainwater with me for most of the race. All in all a great day for a good cause.

In short: Very Enjoyable - except for that Hill
In full: Very good little HM with decent sized field. Good to see plenty of loo's/urinals both indoor and out for an event this size. The Announcer was a real plus - and gave you that special glow when you crossed the line - he mentioned my name about 3 or 4 times, most appreciated. Nice goody bag too. I set PB by some distance - but would have been better if not reduced to a near walk up the Hill at 12 miles. Marshalls were good I thought bearing in mind that it would have been feezing in that wind if you're not running.

In short: Great Scenery, some tricky climbs, hot weather, but slightly let down as I don't appear on the resultss.
In full: I really enjoyed the run and chatted away with a few other runners, especially on the big descent - which is joyous.
Just slightly disappointed as cannot see myself on the results - I know its not the end of the world, but you what I mean. Have contacted the Lions, hopefully they can get it rectified. Great little medal and good level of marshalling and water.
