In short: excellant new event.
In full: excellant trail event; couple of tough hills balanced by long downhill stretches, stunning views, varied terrain, well run and friendly with just enough mud for those of us who like that sort of thing!

In short: What a fantastic event - can see why it came 1st in category in the RW races of the year
In full: good weather, friendly competitors, supportive marshalls, amazing views, shortish loo queues, excellant organization, homemade cakes and challenging route. And thanks to the gallent gents who gave my Beetle a push when I got stuck exiting the carpark!

In short: Now I know what our ancestors must have felt like as they crawled out of the prehistoric swamps and tried to evolve into something akin to human! Loved it.

In short: You know its a tough event when you're fed cake and Mars Bars at the water stations and your trainers are jet-washed at the finish
In full: Tough and I'm glad I did it but need to let the pain fade before I comment on whether I'd do it again.

In short: Missed last years mud but still loved it.
In full: Lack of mud in the first half took the shine off it slightly, but organisers obviously can't be blamed for that. The unbeleivable cold did, however, make it challenging in so many other ways. Like a previous reviewer I made the mistake of getting my gloves wet and have never felt such pain (almost up there with childbirth!)

I think the problem with the loos was also down to the weather which caused the pumps to freeze - perhaps the organisers should have been more prepared for the cold but as the entire country tends to descend into chaos at the first hint of snow I guess we shouldn't expect anything less from them?

Still my all time fave event anyway.
