In short: Very hot day, but the race course, particularly the final few miles round pavements, and parked cars was pretty ordinary at best - Start time at 9 30 almost impossible to reach by London on the train - Ran all the way off the first train

In short: The positive comments made by the race starter as we crossed the start line 3/4 mile in to the race remained with me right up to the end of the race, nearly 2 hours later !

In short: Despite problems with the weather on the day, and the post ( 200 plus runners without numbers ), the race team managed to pull the race off - all credit because the rain never stopped

In short: Very, very slow the first 2 miles - The course route through Cassiobury Park can not support the number of runners - I was at Grammar school in Watford - can't the organisers find a better route, as it's difficult to catch up 10 minutes

In short: Wonderful course - Took a colleague with me, and he was very impressed with the Bewl reservoir - well organised / no criticism can be levelled at Wadhurst Runners
