In short: A god race in parts and a nice medal to top it off!!
In full: Not brilliant organisation wise, with no water staions and an odd start, but a nice medal, venue and awards. Quick 2 lap course, promising for a PB I think. Overall, quite good.

In short: Must be one of the best races in the south west!
In full: Glorious weather, great organisation and a brilliant course. Was worried it was going to be tough but loved it and found the course pretty flat throughout most of it, with only the odd incline scattered here and there. 3 water stops, plenty of encouragement from marshals and a free T shirt at the end, plus a BBQ, massive range of refreshments and a great location made this a really good race. One of the best of the year in my opinion, as good as the Glastonbury 10k!

In short: A mostly flat course on country lanes, definate PB material
In full: Really well run, plenty of water stations, excellent marshalling, well chosen course and plenty of awards for differant catagories, which makes pleasant change from the standard 1st and 2nd male and female awards you get at so many other races. The local apple juice or cider for the end and the local fudge for the prizes was a nice touch. Would recommend for sure!

In short: A relatively flat 10k with a good variety of terrain and a great atmosphere.
In full: Really well run, perfect weather, laid back and with an easy going atmosphere. A medal at the finish, BBQ, pub and refreshments, and plenty of category prizes make this really worth it!

In short: 2 laps of mildly challenging mutli terrain fun.
In full: A nice run, great legth and thanks to an irregular distance a great race for PB. Quite hot and there are some hilly bits, but nothing like the hills seen in the Run in the Wild 10k. A good challenging for the beginner or 10k runner.

In short: Very tough and hilly, but rewarding.
In full: I ran it last year, but the course was run in the opposite direction this year with other tweaks. I couldn't remember it being this hard last year. Could do with perhaps more water stations, but the medal at the end I was not expecting, which made for a nice reward! A good challenge and plenty of multi terrain fun, not PB potential but wouldn't be too bad for a first time 10k: Makes the ones too follow seem easier!

In short: Tough but totally managable for all running abilities. Do this!!!!!
In full: I was worried about this, because of the tough reputation it has, but not as bad as I thought it would be. Hilly, yes, and it does get hot (believe me, the earlier than normal 10am start is late enough!), but with 4 water stations, jelly babies mid race and great countryside throughout, plus the free T shirt at the end ("I'm in!!!"), it is so worth it. A good race for those wanting a race a teeny bit harder than a 10k.
