In short: Best half marathon in the area
In full: This is the first time I have run this. It was fantastic. Amazing value for money. A mixture of off and on road, wonderfully marshalled with plenty of water stations. The organisation puts larger events to shame. Lovely touch of having fruit at the finish line.

In short: Loved very minute of it
In full: I really enjoyed this race. Very scenic and really spurs you on when you can see the iron bridge. Yes there is a hill after the bridge but it is run/walk able.
Loved the goody bag, great t-shirt and always a chocolate bar in there.
Thought the marshals did a good job highlighting hazards such as bollards and steps and then I managed to fall over my own feet on a completely flat bit of ground!!!!

In short: Oh My God
In full: New to running and only done flat(ish) road races. The hills and the mud came as quite a shock. BUT LOVED IT!! Well organised with lots of encouragement from the marshals and spectators. Will definately do it again but will get some better shoes as fell over twice. That just added to the fun as a gorgeous young lady came and checked I was OK.

In short: Wonderfully organised and well supported event
In full: Lovely warm day bought the crowds out to the Navigation Pub to watch. Wonderful atmosphere all round the course and the event runs smoothly. With so many people now running this race could chip timing help at start and finish?

In short: Good traffic free course, bit muddy in places
In full: Very well organised event. Mainly traffic free as on tracks and cycle paths and the police and stewards at the main traffic part in Ironbridge did a great job of stopping the traffic and keeping us safe. Only part to improve was the start, we all lined up and then we got turned round, no indication of start line, meant slow coaches like me were at front. If anyone has lost a nice pair of shades I handed them in to Spout Farm House by the kiddies playground.

In short: Great event once again.
In full: Fantastic well-run event. Lots of support with many households and a shop providing unofficial extra water stations.
One comment, if you were the competitor in the white fiesta who was abusing the two young stewards for not letting you park in a closed road. SHAME ON YOU!! The rules are there for everyone's safety and the guide sent with the entry said that road would be closed. The stewards are volunteers without which we could not run so do not swear at them and threaten to run them over. I have never seen such appaling behaviour.

In short: As most people have said, very hot, good atmosphere.
In full: The second time I have ran this and the only half marathon I have ever done, knocked four minutes off last years time. Crowd are great, water stations are plentiful and a medal, t-shirt and goody bag to finish. Someone has mentioned having biscuits in their bag, I didn't (I was robbed!!)
