In short: Friendly, pretty and well organised
In full: An excellent event. Well organised (obviously made the needed tweaks from last year). A hilly route so may not be the easiest for a debutant. Made more difficult today due to the wind, but thoroughly enjoyed a touhg run. Technical tee much preferred to a medal by me. Becoming a MUST DO run.

In short: Fabulous scenery, but some tough hills.
In full: A glorious run in the Herefordshire countryside. The scenery was excellent, the organisation was very good, and the course was challenging. It was very warm today, and saw me reduce my pace, but still a lovely run, and would thoroughly recommend it. Some big hard hills that proved a challenge, so probably not a PB course, but well worth a visit.

In short: Like a family outing!
In full: An excellently organised low key event across trails, up hills and through the woods.
Although I didn't know anybody there, it was a friendly atmosphere and the cup cakes and hot tea at the end were excellent. A couple of steep hill climbs to make things interesting. This deserves to grow and grow. An excellent event I would fully recommend. Well done to the organisers, I shall be back next year!

In short: Good run, well attended, great atmosphere at the finish.
In full: Finding the place was tricky, with poor road signage around the town, and parking in the stated car park was limited due to building work. Having arrived/parked (later than expected)I feared the worst....BUT the run itself was great. Some scenic parts along canals, through parks, some less
scenic, including a tour of the 'burbs. The kids mini marathon was great and the prizes they received were exceptional. My wife had no problem entertaining them whilst I ran. Free photos available online, so no rip off sky high photo charges. I would thoroughly recommend this marathon to others, but I'm not sure I will do it again. My training fell apart four weeks before the race due to the summer holidays.(I'm a teacher). Perhaps I shouldn't blame the timing, but my lack of discipline?!

In short: Great atmosphere but the greenway bites back!
In full: A well supported and well organised marathon. A flattish course, but windy in places. Hitting the Greenway (Flat, featureless and never ending ex-train track) after approx. 17 miles meant you had to hang on in there, especially when the sun came out. A great atmosphere, and a super meal in a local pub afterwards, where nearly every customer was hobbling or limping. I may be back, but may be more likely to try elsewhere for a new experience. However, I would recommend this to ANYBODY!

In short: Well marshalled, well organised and Very friendly.
In full: Failed to complete due to injury, but very impressed by the set up. Good parking just off the motorway and a short way in we are in the country. Lots of helpful marshalls. Will definitely be trying again next year. Thanks to all that helped make it possible.
