In short: I appreciate that the shortening of the course was not the organisersfault, but it left me with a sour feeling.
In full: Other factors detracted from the experience too.Way too many slow runners at the front.Think all the corporate challege runners started from the front. What is the point of having pens if this is allowed?Spent the first 10 mins getting very frustrated trying to get past.
Support from the crowds seemed very flat.
A pity about having to shorten the course as it would otherwise been PB potential, even allowing for the above moans.
There is better races out there , can't see me being back next year.

In short: Well organised, very fast/flat race, definate PB potential.
In full: Glad I did this race this year rather than the Lincoln 10k.Good organisation, thank you to all the marshals who did a great job.
Only slight criticism ,would have liked a medal with the name of the race on it.
Will be back next year!

In short: Great food at the finish included in generous entry fee.Very well organised
In full: Tough this year.Very muddy and weather not kind, but this did not detract from a great trail race that was definitely a bit of a challenge.Very well organised and marshaled.Very welcome food waiting for you at the finish. Will be back next year.

In short: great January haf marathon
In full: Well organised, the park and ride seemed to work well.Excellent value for money.
Only 1 slight critisism.Would have prefeffer more than the two water stations for a half marathon, but guess as it is January, overheating isn't going to be a real problem

In short: Very enjoyable race but not easy, great value and lovely scenery.
In full: Did the full 26 miles from Lincoln to Sleaford.Really enjoyable but its made me ache in a few places!A few difficult bits under foot and styles/railway lines /foot bridges to deal with.Great value for a 26 mile race and thought the technical t-shirt and medal were good prizes.Generally really well organised apart from one place where I took a wrong turn, and I was't the only one.Even when I found the right turn it wasn't obvious.Probably needed a marshal here.
