In short: Excellent. Scenic, well organised, very friendly, enjoyable and BEST refreshments!!
In full: Loved this race. did it once before in 2010 and today's was just as good. Everything worked like clockwork and marshals and helpers at the end were very very friendly. Enjoyed the rapport with other runners and love the scenery. As others have commented, the cake and beer available at the end were terrific. I had to limit the beer to just a taste, as I was driving, but was made a lovely cup of tea by one of the volunteers! Definitely recommend this, although it is deceptively tough, especially as the hills only appear at the end! Well done to all the team, volunteers and those involved in organising the event. So appreciated!!

In short: Brilliant day, well organised and very friendly
In full: My first marathon, chose it because its my home city and it definitely brought out the best in us! Volunteers were great, crowd very, very supportive and the organisation was excellent. Well done to all. Mentally it can be a bit tough, because of the out and back sections of the run, but for me this was a bonus, seeing runners moving in opposite directions and lots of mutual encouragement. Have signed up for next year!

In short: Brilliantly organised, great value race
In full: Superbly organised race, very friendly marshals (With some stamina, staying friendly in such pouring rain!!!) The medal is great and the cakes were excellent. It was my only 'flat' half-marathon this year, so a definite season's best (actually, best time for 25 years!) After the run, I got very cold very quickly, nothing to do with the race organisation of course, but if you're going to do a half marathon in November, you need to be ready for that(!) Despite the weather, thanks to all the organisers and helpers for a great day.

In short: A fun, challenging run -and midnight makes a change !
In full: I really enjoyed the run. Brighton is my home town and I'm sure that added to it, and as usual, Saturday night revellers were very happy to encourage the runners, even though most had no idea what the event was ... Other runners were also typically very friendly and encouraging. The organisation was pretty good, but attempting to combine this with the white night festival was always ambitious. A few improvements needed, both at the start and finish, and a few more marshals at certain key points would have helped. But a HUGE THANK YOU to those volunteers who did help. You deserve a medal for staying out and staying cheery at that time of night !!!! Thanks to everyone.

In short: Really enjoyed the run in the park!
In full: Great race. Smaller atmosphere makes it really enjoyable. very well organised and Regents park is one of the best London Parks to walk in, never mind running! Topped off for me by a glorious sunset -a little while after finishing, I should add !!!!
Thanks to all the organisers and helpers, a very good evening :)

In short: Beautiful run. Great variations in scenery and hills without being a killer. Well organised and cheerful.
In full: First half marathon in 25 years and glad I started with this one. Very well organised. The hills make it a good challenge without being real killers. Marshalls and runners were very friendly. -My thanks to the Cambridge Harrier who encouraged me up the final slope !!! Loved the scenery and would definitely want to do it again. The Lions deserve to be thanked for the organisation.
