In short: wet but worth it In full: really nice atmosphere, lots of support from people, marshals and drummers all the way round. The rain didnt spoil it. Kelly Holmes was lovely and supportive, she seemed to have time to chat with everyone. Not the flattest of races but half-marathons dont get much better than this. Always nice to be able to receive a shirt at the end and add it to the collection. Date of review: April 4, 2010

In full: oh soo hard... evil hills, one depressing one at 3miles, but in hindsight its all worth it to make the london marathon seem do-able. More road signs needed please! Not nice to think you maybe heading off in the wrong direction ( as happened to me at about 17 miles). Often had to run on my own. Nice HQ in the hotel, nice to relax there before and after. In short: they describe it as mainly flat... In full: a london marathon training definite. Its not flat in the slightest but worth it once you're done, especially for the fancy looking mdedal at the end:) Date of review: April 4, 2010
