In short: 2011 Scorchio, 2012 Squelchio still relentless, challenging, beautiful and brilliant
In full: Not for the faint of heart, a course that will test you to your limits, the combination of climbs, descents and terrain barely gives you a moments respite. Organisation faultless again this year, support awesome, weather terrible but I preferred this years wet to last years heat. In two years has become a must do marathon for those who want more than urban Tarmac. Not one to underestimate but just the best way imaginable to spend a filthy wet Sunday at the start of July.

In short: Lumps, bumps and cattle grids; friendly, charming and fun.
In full: Wonderfully low key, interesting profile and mixed terrain. Cattle grids and gates kept it interesting. Lots of local support. Well organised. Will be back next year.

In short: 1st time off road, couldn't have picked a better event
In full: Nothing original to add, just reinforcement of all the other reviews a wonderful event leaving you with a warm feeling (crumble, cake and hot drink). Great course, challenging but doable for a novice or 1st timer like me.

In full: Great - better if I had not been the guy who took the organisers at their word when they post posted the start to 10AM fetched some sub block from the car and had to run 2k back and start last (7 mins behind elite) when the race began at 9.50AM. Other than that great!
