In short: Love this race, great start to the year. Marshalls are FAB.
In full: 2nd year of running this race for me, and I'll be back again next year. It's all very well organised and there's a great atmosphere. The marshalls are fantastic, and the stand out feature of the race. For a plodder like me, it's great to have such encouragement all the way round.
Nice to kick myself into gear for Marathon training.

In short: Not a full 5k run, but for a good cause.
In full: The race at Redditch didn't have the feel to it that other Race for Life runs I've done had (compared to Bromsgrove and Stratford) and I was REALLY disappointed that the course was 650m short of 5k as I was definitley on for a new PB!

All for a good cause though so you can't fault it - and it doesn't masquerade itself as an exact 5k race. It's a charity run, and it does what it says on the tin!

In short: A feel good race!
In full: As a relatively new runner (this was only my 2nd 10k race) I found the ups and downs a good challenge! The uphill at around the 7.5km mark was a bit of a challenge, but it felt BRILLIANT to have reached the top! The remainder downhill was a lovely way to finish.

In short: Very enjoyable and a nice route! Made a whole day out of it.
In full: This was my boyfriend's first running event - and he loved it! The route was lovely, scenic and straight forward with a slow incline for the first 2k. Didn't quite get a PB but nevermind! LOVED watching the Kids 1.5k Challenge.and looking round the various stalls and the Police Dog Unit show.

The organiser even spoke to me as he ran past me, offering words of encouragement! Lovely.
