In full: After last year's debacle, Manchester owed me - and it delivered. Well organised, well supported and a speedy course. I think I'll be back to try and chip a bit more off my time next year!

In short: Has potential to be an excellent PB race.
In full: Super fast course, excellent marshalling. What a shame about the baggage situation before and after the race. My husband (who rescued me from the chaos) said that many runners looked hypothermic and in need of medical attention. A few signs with race numbers outside the tent might have helped. Separate number-sorted locations even better.
However ... the best supported race I have have ever run; the good people of Manchester deserve a medal all of their own for turning out in such numbers, in such foul weather, and with such enthusiasm.

In short: fast and friendly
In full: There was a great deal of online maoning about this race not being called off. Yes, there was snow, yes it was slushy, but well over 500 people were haoppy to race.
Really enjoyed this - and will return next year to try again- hopefully without snow.

In short: fast and furious
In full: Wonderful race - quite competitive. Lots of club runners but very beginner friendly. Downhill most of the way so good for pb chasers. Great organisation- thanks to race organisers.
