In short: Fabulously well organised, completely awesome event - in my top 2!
In full: Completely agree with everything positive said before. Massive congratulations to the organisers on a top notch race with top notch organisation. I have never put so much effort into so many hills on a run before, but likewise never had so much constant reward thrown back from views and atmosphere. This run is sheer inspiration!

In short: Very picturesque, well marshalled, excellent organisation, with some hill challenges, but great long gentle downhill sections so not completely beyond PB potential - well done Baldock!
In full: Really great race, superb for an inaugural event. My wife got her PB, so the hilly bits can be worked to your advantage, and she enjoyed it as a mother's day treat - an excellent time slot for what I hope will be a regular annual mother's day event! Congratulations & thanks to all involved.

In short: Fantastic & faultless! Count me in next year.
In full: What a glorious run - can't fault it. A fabulous route, seamless organisation, wonderful views, great track variety, and those amazing photos to look at from the run photographer (the best I've seen!) Thank you, Tring RC, you've aced it.

In short: 4th time on the Barton 10k and getting more fond of it each year - the hill start is now becoming my friend, this time felt like a great warm up, for my Barton 10k PB! Great organisation this year - one of my firm favourites.
In full: Great marshals and marshalling - Thanks! Coolish drizzle and stiff breeze contrasted to scorching heat and still blue skies of previous years, but the same great scenery and off road running surface, just with the last km steep fast downhill burst needing a little more care than usual against slipping in the damp - all great fun, though. Becoming one of my firm favourites. Great run - go for your Barton PB... better than your ordinary 10K PB!

In short: Fantastic smooth running start, frequent well organised water / energy stops, good scenery, flat and fast - beat my last time by 13 mins, so can't be bad! End was OK, a fair walk to the buses but a not unwelcome 'warm down' - I enjoyed it!
In full: I understand some of the comments about the finish, but do wonder whether a bit of negative momentum is building up - are some being a little harsh? I could easily do this again.

In short: Great to run point-to-point off-road between such special places - some of the best chalk downland
In full: My first marathon, which I knew would be a challenge, but it certainly was tough. Wind and rain to start not great for the spirits, but the friendly organisers, participabts and especially encouraging walkers were all fantactic. First 6 miles are particularly magnificent countryside, views, and as dramatic as chalk downland gets: really enjoyable - last 6 not so great until Stonehenge looms up. Overall a very well organised and fantastically rewarding challenge, with some really memorable bits - I could well be back!
