In short: Flat fast PB potential In full: Well organised race. Plenty of car parking right near the start. The race is run over two laps of both grass, pavement and gravel but is the flatest 10k I have run and therefore has PB potential. Would make a nice day out if the weather was good. In short: Scenic 10k In full: This is the sixth time I have completed this race. There are a number of hills but the views make up for this. The last few kilometres are downhill. I like the early start which means the race does not take up your whole day. Would recommend for those that fancy a challenge. Medal not as good as previous years but still unique. In short: Well organised, value for money race In full: This half marathon takes in both town and country and the support is great. Yes there are hills but beats having a continuous flat race. The organisation was superb, medal brilliant, weather a bonus. I would definitely recommend this race to anyone who does half marathons. The last two miles you would think you were nearer the finish then you were the support was that good. Date of review: March 2, 2012

In short: Must do half marathon In full: By reading last years comments I thought it would be a real toughie. Although there are some hills there are great stretches of downhills and flats. Well marshalled, organised, great scenery and good suppport. Date of review: November 4, 2011

In short: Nice Medal to compensate for the hills! In full: I would say the race was undulating bordering on hilly which was quite brutal with the heat. Enough water stations but due to the heat I also carried my own drink around. Organisation was great as was Dame Kelly giving out the medals. Would do this again next year hoping that the heat would not be so punishing. Date of review: September 25, 2011
