In short: A cracking race, thoroughly enjoyed it. In full: A brilliant race, I got a PB so very happy with that. The water marshalls need to up their game a bit I had to grab one off the table and there were only two runners going past. There was some great encouragement from marshalls and the general public. I liked the pint glass in the goody bag as well. Well done to all involved. Date of review: October 21, 2012

In short: A cracking race, thoroughly enjoyed it. In full: A great race, obviously the rain put some people off from standing on the side and cheering everyone on, but you can't blame DB Max for that. I got a PB so I think this race is brill! Like some other runners I chose this race as Chippenham didn't have their half marathon this year so hopefully Malmesbury and Chippenham will have their races in 2013 on different weekends and I can do both. Only thing I didn't like was last bit of the race off the High Street and into the park, it should solely be for runners and not pedestrians as well (most moved out of the way). Was also hoping for some information on buying a Persimmon home in the goody bag :) Date of review: September 23, 2012

In short: Cracking. A well organised race. In full: An excellent run, good atmosphere throughout, this is becoming a very popular race so hopefully The Harriers can cope with demand in future years and still maintain the quality of organisation. Will be back next year. Date of review: September 11, 2011

In short: Marvelleous, great fun, enjoyed every footstep. In full: What great fun, an incredible atmosphere there were people cheering you on in the most random of places. Plenty of water stations and well organised. My fave race of 2011. Date of review: August 22, 2011

In short: A cracking race, thoroughly enjoyed it. In full: A good atmosphere and moreso after being offered a small taster of wine before my wave started. As others have mentioned it was little costly to enter but you are rewarded with the freebies, goody bag and slick organisation. Definately looking out for these races in the future. In short: A cracking race, thoroughly enjoyed it. In full: My first time at the Brsitol 10k and will be back next year, turned up a bit later than planned and was unsure where to go, but was directed efficiently. Good atmosphere and goody bag. Date of review: May 15, 2011

In short: A well organised race and well unorganised goody bag collection. In full: My second time at this race and as previous the collection of numbers/chips is smooth as silk, nice atmosphere with 'Smashie and Nicie' at the race start, the pacers was a nice touch (don't remember them from last year), nice crowd support out and about, a mad sprint at the finish and then stop for 25 minutes whilst you receive your hand picked goody bag - what was all that about it's not like you had a choice of size/colour or anything! Pre-pack the goody bags, it was done last year and that worked so why different this year? The goody bags were good and probably one of the best on the race calender, but come on! In short: Pretty dull but well organised. In full: A lot of money for not a lot really. I got a PB but it's dead flat, not going to count it though. I prefer town/city races and this ain't it. Date of review: March 19, 2011

In short: I was told not to go too quick on the first lap and did I listen...no! In full: It certainly lived up to it's name but it was great fun, my first race of the season and got a better time than I expected. I'll be back for the rest of the races this year. Date of review: February 27, 2011

In short: A cracking day, loved every minute. In full: I live in Chippenham and took up running after reading about how this race was voted top 5 in the UK in 2009. Plenty of water stations, well marshalled and free jelly babies (inspirational). So, this being my first half marathon and thought it was excellent with a vfm goody bag, did the course in 1:50:21. Well done Chippenham Harriers, but the question has to be asked, what are you gonna do for 2011? Date of review: September 12, 2010
