In short: Flat & fast
In full: A well organised event. I did this last year & there are some major improvements in the orgnaisation & the marshalls, so well done.
Its flat, but its not very inspiring....the scenery is the same all the way round, so tougher than it should be! Nice t-shirt & welcome over the finish line.
Good to see the kids out helping with the water stations.
Much improved!

In short: Challenging 20 miler, excellent pre marathon training run!
In full: Quite hilly, lovely scenery depending on the weather. This year it was overcast sometimes windy & rainy, so not so pretty to look at.
Only down side was the amount of dog mess on the route between Ramsgate & Broadstairs....it really was disgusting! Lots of comments from fellow runners. Not a good advert for a coastal resort! Apart from this, an excellent race with chatty fellow runners!

In short: Flat, monotonous scenery rather than inspiring. Functional race rather than enjoyable.
In full: As said by others, the end of the race is an anticlimax. You have to dodge through moving & parked cars & other runners who have finished.
Its a shame that nothing in the town of Lydd is open as spectators have little to do during the bulk of the race.
This race does the job for a pre marathon race & unfortunately I don't think it does much more.
