In short: more sun then fun but hey! I was there for the first one! In full: This was the first coastal 10k for folkestone and it was hot, running back against an easterly breeze was a mixed blessing, the swarm of bees at sandgate made it exciting, the cooling drink marshals are life saving, and the lack of chips frustrating! but hey i enjoyed it... and i shall enjoy it again next year... if it's overcast and a windless day this is a pb cert... BIG THANK YOU MARSHALS.. Date of review: May 30, 2012

In short: My first Marathon, Another tick off my bucket list! In full: TRRAC have done a fantastic job. In our budget tightening times to find a Marathon entry at this price, with this level of support and organisation is incredable, the stunning views of the Kent coastline, the happy banter and support of other runners is all top drawer, its probably Kents best kept running secret but I feel once the word is out the few "on the day" entries will become a thing of memory! I was amazed at the level of support mustered up as Marshals and the manning of drink/gel stations, that must have been a logistical headache that worked so well on the day a BIG THANK YOU to TRRAC Commitee, Marshals, and sponsors.
