In short: Great flat course but tough hill at end to test you In full: Great event organisation, everything ran operated smoothly for us. Course was flatter than I expected, definitely pb potential. Save some for the long, steep incline at the end of the race. Nice medal & T-shire. Great atmospher and loads going on with the continental market in town and activities for the younger runners. Fantastic day, will definitely be racing here again next year but for charity next time. Date of review: September 5, 2010

In short: Challenging course, great atmosphere & friendly club In full: First proper race for me outside of Race for Life . Friendly welcome, good turn out for the race. Challenging course I thought. Well marshelled and appreciated encouragement from them, especially on those hills! Killer hill in the last mile of race but then mostly downhill for last half mile or so of the course. Chucking it down with rain at one point but this didn't put a dampner on proceedings. Refreshments were on hand back at that the cricket club house. Soon warmed up with a cuppa :)Presentation & buffet followed. Great goody bag thanks to race sponsors Up & Running. I'll be back next year for more. Thanks Heanor Running Club!
