In short: Very tough and hilly...but locals gave u the support you needed!
In full: My 1st race..on my local course..i trained on it...and still struggled...but the people of the potteries..really do push you along...you gotta see it to believe it!
The hills are a killer...but made better with sweets n drinks on offer and of course the couple on top of milton road with the hose pipe...sure they are famous by now!!
superb..even when had a personal nightmare...by struggling with a hamstring problem..the atmosphere gets you to the end.
See you all next year.
