In short: the most arduous thing I have ever done
In full: A great race, really enjoyed it in some bizarre way. but I have to echo the points made about the showers and that pointless ditch. If I go down with Weils disease I will know where I got it from!

In short: you will feel virtuous after this one
In full: A challenging trail run without anything silly like vertical climbs or running through rivers. A good excuse to visit Imber and parts of the plain that you may not normally have access to. I was glad I used trail shoes, I was also glad to see the finish at 12.7 but slightly disapointed that I cannot boast to my friends that I did "close to 15" so soon after christmass!

In short: good all round cross country run
In full: Probably my favourite event, 8+ miles of mud & track about right for beginners & experienced. longer would be a bit gruelling for less fit runners. Didn`t quite make the prizes - perhaps next year. Great fun.

In short: A pleasant sunday morning run
In full: Yes organisation was a bit "sketchy" considering the entry fee, but this was a trail run. The route was marked, its not as if you were responcible for your own navigation.
Tree roots and other hazards are all part of trail running.
Overall this was an enjoyable sunday morning run, perhaps it would have been better to be out in the wider country side a bit more. two roe deer crossed right in front of me at one point and I won a small cash prize for my age group!
Would do it again.
