In short: Very good challenging, but fast race - good for all abilities
In full: Very much enjoyed the race, some challenging hills, although mainly downhill, some good open areas and good support in the main areas. This was well signed and marshalled - will definately be back next year - well done to the organisers

In short: Fast well organised race - very enjoyable
In full: Great race starting with a couple of hills that come in before you are really ready for going up hill, but after that a very enjoyable and fast race - Definately PB material this one - broke mine by almost 4 minutes !

In short: If you Love a challenge but want to walk the next day this is the one for you !
In full: Very good well organised race which although taking in a busy road went well so no issues from me. Marshalls were many and all had a smile and words of encouragement to spur you on. Could have done with 1 more water stop through the course but that is being picky. I had read alot about the hills from previous reviews in other years so had put in extra repeats through training, but to be fair there was only 1 that was significantly challenging, with the added horror of a straight down the other side element as well at what seemed an even steeper angle, but all in I will definately be signing to do this one next year. The walk back to the race HQ was great for the warm down and meant not having to worry with laps of the car on return. Well done to all involved in organising this

In short: Great event - tube as always unreliable, but well done for putting the start back to allow all to take part
In full: I really enjoyed this event and the atmosphere on the run. The roads that were supposed to be closed were closed, not just one way and you felt safe all of the way round. The atmosphere was excellent with many spectators along almost all of the course. Didnt get to see/hear most of the bands due to concentrating on running. The finish line was not too congested when I got back, and managed to get to the bags, and other stuff fairly easily. I would definately do this race again as felt well organised and run. In terms of some of the other posts I have read I cant beleive the moans some people have - thought running and racing was about testing yourself and having fun - not freebies at the end. if thats all you are interested in then go to a book launch !! And as for the people not knowing where to go and which pen then I would think that the organisers thought most involved were adults and able to organise themselves.
Anyway - good day, new PB and will definately sign up for next year.

In short: the start was a bit of a sham - too crowded and no real organisation, i walked up the other side of the road and joined at the fornt though so not held up by slower runners. Overall race was challenging with some long hills, beat my PB though.

Overall race was challenging with some long hills, beat my PB though by just over a minute so overall happy with the day.

felt the T shirt was a nice touch and the free Lucozade always goes down well - will definately be competing in this one next year
