In short: Fabulous race: with great organisation, a wonderful atmosphere and Dame Kelly!
In full: The first 5K is relatively easy but then the really hard work begins as the hills seem to get steeper each year! I actually walked up part of that last hill to the finish line :-(
Overall it is such a great race and well worth the effort.
Thank you to all the organisers and marshalls. So lovely to have Dame Kelly presenting the nice medals! She is very generous with her time and so pleasant and patient with everyone who wanted a photo with her (including me!).

In short: Fanatstic!
In full: Great race organisation and wonderful atmosphere! Well worth doing and total PB potential (I was returning from an injury and although I ran faster than last year I did not manage a PB). Love the medal, bagels and goodie bag!

Thank you to all the marshalls and organisers.

I'll be there again next year!

In short: Well organised, great run and good value!
In full: I would certainly run this again!
By registering early I paid £19 and got back far more than that with a Rat Race technical t-shirt, wonderful goodie bag and all-day parking (plus the 50% off Ronhill clothes). The course was fairly challenging (but really not too bad)and the marshalls were encouraging (but not overly so). I only missed out on a PB by 20 seconds...drat.
A very good morning out. Thanks RW!

In short: Really good for a new event
In full: I am used to street running so this off road race was always going to be a different type of challenge. The ground was very dry so trail shoes weren't needed today. The event was well marshalled with lots of encouragement spurring us on. The narrow single track of the field edges was mildly annoying, as I couldn't pass other runners, but so what (!) because it meant I could appreciate the scenery even more: meadows, orchards and hop fields.

Only two ladies toilets! More toilets next year would be nice!

Others have questioned the PB potential - well, it depends where you are in your running career as I PB'd by over three and a half minutes, so I am well pleased. Thanks for an enjoyable race.

In short: Enjoyable race, with great marshalling, but the start and finish could have been better organised.
In full: My first outing at Paddock Wood and it was a great day overall. I did find that it was a little let down by poor organisation at the start (with all the runners assembled before the time markers arrived)and also the finish (with a horrendous queue for the water and goody bag. However, I would do it again and want to thank Paddock Wood AC for a pretty good event.

In short: What a great race!
In full: My first half marathon but not my last!

Fabulous organisation resulting in a great atmosphere. I can't praise the pace-makers enough - thanks so much to the sub 2 hour guys; so motivational and I wouldn't have done it without you! Roll on next year...

In short: Lovely route over several types of terrain. Very well organised with good marshalling.
In full: A big thank you to all the organisers of this first-time run in East Grinstead; I hope it becomes a regular fixture. How about a medal next year?

In short: Great run. Good organisation. Nice medal.
In full: A very well organised event with adequate marshalling. Very scenic route with exceptional views of Windsor Castle during the last couple of kilometres. It was a pity that there wasn't more than one drink station but overall a fantastic event.
