In short: My home town race and voted the best in uk!
In full: This course is a large part of all the running I do over a season, I extend it here and there when training for longer runs, I absolutely love it, and cant believe there was no wind! so many people got pb,s that this could well be the fastest course now, as well as the best! Faultless in every area, well done all !

In short: Well ran race
In full: First time for me, thought the course was very nice, a few good old tasty hills to challenge as well, the marshalls were superb, so enthusiastic, as were the locals! A big thank you to both! only moans, I entered on the day, only cos I was unsure till friday if I was able to do the race, by which time the online option had closed, and got whacked with a £4 surcharge, surely £2 would have been enough, and no medal, which at £22 (inc my ea discount ) seemed expensive, so come on guys get a medal for next time!

In short: THE half marathon!
In full: Second year, and a pb, fabulous race, when are they going to get technical t shirts though? I've a draw full of cotton ones I never use, and now another one! only a minor moan though, everything else about the day was first class

In short: Fantastic course with stunning scenery
In full: this was one of the most stunning runs for scenery I have ever done, breathtaking in parts and what fun wading through water! no complaints at all, fab, will do 2012 for sure!

In short: well organised scenic 10k
In full: First time i've done this race and was very impressed with it, loved the run down the prom, felt like the half marathon in march, only 5 times hotter! Twisted my ankle at the top of the steps though which cost me a bit of time, but enjoyed it all the same! will be back next year

In short: A good hard race to really challenge you!
In full: On the way over from Southport it was thick cloud,not so Hull! roasting again like last year! I really likke this one, it feels a proper challenge, the water stations were a lot better this year as well, and the local support was greast as it always is! One small moan. the maedal has been exactly the same for years, I hope they have finally got shut of them and get some new ones!

In short: Very enjoyable seaside run
In full: First time for me, and would do it again, only the 280 mile journey might make me think again! I thought the regular water stops was a real winner, excellent medal and t shirt as well! thank you to all involved

In short: The most enjoyable race I have ever done
In full: I absolutely loved every thing about this marathon, will be back again next year, the little pockets of crowds giving their all in support giving out sweets and things, and the lady with the cow bell at Newby Bridge was just incredible, the spectators made the whole day for me. wish I could thank them all amd tell them just how much they help you along!

In short: Really good half marathon, growing year by year
In full: I like this run,the weather this year was spot on, and no wind on the front this year, so everyone will have enjoyed it more than last year!
