In short: It's not too hilly - honest!
In full: A lovely, scenic route mostly along quiet country lanes. The first few miles were mostly downhill then it levels off which leaves a gradual climb towards the end of the race but nothing drastic. The headwind added to a challenging finish but worth the effort considering that the roads were well marshalled throughout with volunteers and police. Great atmosphere and medal at the finish line, too.

In short: A well organised, challenging 10k
In full: A challenging 10k along quiet country lanes with a great, welcoming atmosphere along the way, especially at the finish line. Well organised, good work from the marshalls throughout and a nice t-shirt all adds up to a memorable 10k worth a return trip next year.

In short: PB heaven!
In full: This is the third year I've ran this and achieved a PB on two of them (would have been three had it not been for that cruel head-wind last year). The marshalling was an improvement and there seemed to be more support out and about on the route. I thought the £3 parking fee was a bit of a cheek after the costly entry fee - I just hope it's going to a good cause. Very enjoyable race and will certainly return again next year!

In short: A cheeky, challenging midweek 10K.
In full: More of a mud-runner than a road race this one but a good, tough race all the same with mostly club runner entries. For £4 entry you can't go wrong and you'll certainly know about it the next day! Well organised and marshalled with some local support along the way.

In short: A fantastic, scenic 10K with PB potential
In full: This is the second time I've entered this (after last year) and found it to be just as brilliantly organised again. A beautiful, local 10K all on closed roads with a couple of water-stations along the way, fantastic marshalls and many small crowds to cheer you along can't be bad at all! I had a PB here last year and knocked another minute off it again this year - what more can I say? Other than "see you next year"!!

In short: Carlsberg don't organise 10k races, but if they did...!
In full: What a fantastic 10k race this was! I had to make an 80 mile journey to attend this and glad I did. Very well organised, great atmosphere with a fantastic crowd along the way and road closures through the town made it all worth while...oh yeah, and a new 10k PB! Result!!

In short: A challenging 10k race in the heart of the beautiful cotswold countryside.
In full: A well organised run along some scenic country lanes with a couple of tough little climbs thrown in. Not one for a PB but a rewarding run all the same!

In short: Good, local half marathon - headwind proved challenging on the last 4 miles!
In full: An ejoyable half-marathon with PB potential. Compared to last year the marshalling seemed half hearted in and around the town towards the end of the race and the facilities / atmosphere at the start was disappointing. Will be back next year though!
