In short: My Race of the Year. In full: I have completed in a lot of races this year from marathon's to 1 mile relays, and this race tops them all. A great introduction to trail running, stunning scenery, challenging ascents and descents, superb organisation and damn cheap. Can't fault anything.
My race of the year.
Hope this runs next year.

In short: Muddy, Hills, Deers, Jelly Babies and Cake In full: I loved this run. Ok it is not a PB course, there are no timing chips, no massive crowds, no goody bag, no medal. It is a training run. After a slow canal start, it was straight into the country side for an undulating run. The number of hills on the course made you pop outside of your comfort zone for a while. This was great as it pushed you physically and mentally, and in the back of your mind you know London or Brighton marathon courses are not this hilly!
At times it was hard running on the open roads, with cars and bikes, but the marshals ensured the course was safe, and the traffic waited for runners.
If you are training for either London or Brighton marathon’s these runs are a great addition to your training plan.
