In short: TOO CONGESTED - TOO MANY RUNNERS
In full: Bargain price, but the course isnt really suitable for 700+ runners, you have to walk/jog the first couple of minutes.

In short: BEST ORIGINAL RACE OF THE YEAR
In full: Awesome race, words cannot describe everything....just do it and you will experience the unexpected & weird joy of doing the Stockport 10! Keep up the good work guys/girls.
I have only 1 tiny moan in that last years Tech T (more mile) was a much better fit than this yrs Ron Hill.....the sleeves are mega long, hope you revert back to the more mile.

In full: Excellent organisation: plenty of close free parking, lots of marshalls, efficient handouts at finish. Course: boring, flat but a couple of testing inclines near the end which can scupper your PB chance. Value: good at £11 includes water half way and at finish, bath towel and flowers for ladies. Beginner-friendliness: well, i wouldnt like to do it as my first race, a pretty high standard of club runners racing, depends how intimidated you are.

In short: Faultless performance by the MD Race team!
In full: Awesome, one of the best races in the UK, and no its not because of the scenery (housing estates....but unimportant) its because of this:
Faultless, precise organisation, free car parking at start, tech t given at start, timed start pens, chip timing, plenty of marshalls & supporters en route, smooth finish to personal chip removal, pork pies, medal, 6 x muller yogurts, snicker bar, gingerbread man and bottle of water, showers & changing area, and all for half the price of the big commercial events!
You can tell that the organisers care about you having a good race experience, and improvements have been made on last year which has made it even better. I honestly cannot fault this race.

In short: Superb New Event
In full: Great set-up, car parking next to start, indoor hall and toilets to wait in before start. Course through town of Mold with a half mile gentle hill climb followed by a lovely downhill stretch. Bargain at £12 with chip timing, goody bag, warm dry hall at finish, showers, lovely prizes, and plenty of supportive marshalls standing in horrendous flooding rain. Hope its run again as an excellent event.
