In short: 3rd time.....gets better every year!
In full: The 5km race got extended to a 6km (due to a newly ploughed field)which made this years course even better! The scenery was fantastic, even the bluebells were out.
Yet again wonderfully organised,very friendly and one of our (my wife runs this too) favourite events.
Thank you to all involved and see you next year, hopefully.

In short: Scenic, a good challenge
In full: It's taking part in events like these that makes running such a joy. A wonderful course, not flat but enough of a challenge to justify a few extra jaffa cakes at the finish.
Parking was a pain but it's a small village. Will do this again next year, as will my wife who came to watch.

In short: "Ive got to run up another hill!?!?!!!"
In full: Fantastic! Friendly,encouraging marshals a wonderful cross country course......you know I wouldn't normaly walk up half those hills!!! If Ashford Tr-Club are good enough to organise this event next year I'll be back.

In short: One to try again next year...but where is my t-shirt?
In full: Overall a great run,friendly and well organised. My time though appears alittle amiss. I started with the 2nd bunch and my chip time and garmin time are 12 seconds apart?! I'm going with the faster time :)
And it's mentioned there were t-shirts for finishers???? Where???

In short: Good but could be better
In full: I would consider doing this again...but ....there was a problem with traffic. I ended up walking from Walton High Street, which is a fair distance on a hot day.I did hear the announcer say they clashed with a car boot fair and have done on previous years....well please tell us to travel early then or risk a mild panic wondering if we'll make it!
Didn't see any water station at the start and on a hot day when it's a delayed start this would help. I suffered for this on the run.
that said well marshalled and ...if you're not suffering a nice 5k return along the river.
Will consider next year.

In short: Fantastic setting,testing run and jelly babies at the finish!
In full: My partner and I ran this last year. Hence we came back. and to AN EVEN BETTER EVENT! Very friendly,good atmosphere and a chance to run through some glorious scenery. We'll be back. Well done and thank you to the organises and those marshalling on the day.
