In short: Great first race, was well reassured by the lovely marshalls and back rider
In full: My first ever half and really ust wanted to survive in under 3hours. Lovely race dispite hideous weather. was last for the first couple of miles until the early pace caught up with people but the little man on the bike at the back was very reassuring and set me at easy. Felt no undue pressure. Go for it ext year, even if you are at the back you'll be well looked after. V much like the soothing countryside views too.

In short: Dispite a personal worst v enjoyable. great marshalls
In full: Personally went off a bit too fast and paid the price and dropped from my usualy almost last to actually last. Got lots of support from the marshalls and other runners. one guy did offer to run with me which was lovely and a marshall ran the last km with me (carrying his sign!). Everyone very lovely. would definately do it again next year. thanks to all.

In short: A bit hilly but plenty of support and nice scenery
In full: Lovely race, nice views, a few hills made it challenging. Plenty of support from the marshalls to keep you going. Had a great day. Produced a time 1.5mins faster than last race even with hills so dead chuffed. Definately doing it again next year.

In short: Great fast race will definately do it again next year
In full: Very quick race as proved by the winning time of under 30mins! lovely and flat with just a few bottle necks that slowed you down a little if you were mid pack near the beginning. Keep the wheelchair racers of the grass next year and it wil be pretty perfect. Such a shame that one competitor should die. Teriibly sad.
