In short: Hard work but great race.
In full: I competed in the half marathon, which I really enjoyed. The hills and running surface were tough going, but the atmosphere was great. Very well organised and scenery fantastic. Will definitely do this one again.

In short: Lovely route by the river
In full: This was a great race - flat, scenic and traffic-free. Would certainly do it again.
Shame that local residents seemed upset with parking. Thanks to the organisers and all involved with this event.

In short: Can't understand why people have complained
In full: As always, Nice Work put in huge efforts to ensure a successful race. Still some people moan about the most ridiculous things. All we needed to do was follow the instructions, arrive in plenty of time, and have a good run like most of us did. Thanks Martin and Cathy for a great day, I'll be back next year and will continue to support your events.

In short: Really enjoyable, friendly race.
In full: Not usually a fan of off road races, I really enjoyed this run. It was well organised, friendly, encouraging marshalls, free tea and cake and a great atmosphere. Had a great time despite the chilly weather and would definitely do this race again.

In short: Fantastic - great fun ! Laughed all the way round.
In full: This the first time my friend and I have taken on Hellrunner, having spoken to many who had completed it before. Had a brilliant time, loads of mud, hills and wading chest deep in icy, muddy water. We laughed all the way, enjoying the friendly atmosphere of the other runners and marshalls. The kit was thrown away at the end - no amount of washing will get that clean! Can't wait to do it all again next year.

In short: Lovely race, great marshals, would do it again
In full: This was a lovely 10k run, scenic route and very encouraging marshals. Beautiful cakes at the finish were a real treat. Shame that only some people were given t-shirts. When I asked why,I was told "we just had some left over from last year". Very disappointing for those of us who missed out, especially for the lady celebrating her first 10k with all her family present. Otherwise, great race organised by the Rotary Club. Thanks to all concerned. I will be back next year.

In short: Great race, excellent organisation.
In full: Despite the dreadful weather the race was run with the usual efficiency and freindliness. Really enjoy this race, would recommend to anyone wanting to have a go!

In short: Tough race but very scenic. Couple of points could improve the day.
In full: A hilly race, but the venue and route are very special. Marshals extremely encouraging. Signage for toilets, race HQ, start etc. within the venue were lacking. Very disappointing as a slower runner to have the choice of a t-shirt that was far too small or gigantic. Would suggest option of collecting t-shirt on arrival next year. I would do it again if these points were ironed out. Thanks to all concerned for hard work in organising a nice event.

In short: Great little race!
In full: I have run this race several times now. It has a great atmosphere, very friendly and well organised. The sun always seems to shine at Harvel!which adds to the feel good factor of the race. Would definitely encourage others to give it a try.

In short: Beats all other half marathons in the South East
In full: I love this race and do it every year. Everything is like clockwork, and all standards of runners are made to feel very welcome. Other races could learn a great deal from this one. Thank you, see you next year.
