In short:
In full: I signed up for this race as I wanted to do a half marathon on the day of my 31st birthday, and I must say, I could not have had a better first half marathon experience. Best birthday gift to myself, ever!!!

I was expecting a flatter course though, but the scenery and the excellent marshalling very well made up for the tough parts :) I really enjoyed it, although the last two miles on the grassy bits were criminal and whilst running I was thinking never again. But after crossing the finish line I could only think I'd do it again, any day.
