In short: second year in a row lovely race
In full: I love races which are inclusive and encourage people to have a go, it's a lovely course, well organised and all the other runner's were very friendly. My husband and two friends dressed as superheroes (to raise money for the hospice) and the support they got was overwhelming.

In short: very hard hills great atmosphere
In full: you need to put in some serious training for this race don;t juat do a flat 10 miler in training and think that will be enough. However the atmosphere was great and brilliant for slower runners as there were plenty of us!

In short: nice course for first half marathon
In full: Great timing for training run for FLM. I am dead slow but was pleased with my efforts on such a wet day finishing a half felt like such an achievement. I think it was a shame that us plodders were put off by the cut off times as it's a lovely course for those who just try to get round. The marshalls were great staying out in the rain and really encouraging but would it be that much of a problem to encourage slower runner's to join in? We all have to start somewhere and it's a shame not to allow those of us with less ability the option of joining in such a nice race.
