In short: Enjoyable 10k
In full: I haven't run this event for several years but I thoroughly enjoyed today's 10k. It's a good road run, out and back with some nice hills. Organisation is good, adequate number of marshalls, t-shirt and medal, and a nice cup of tea at the end.

In short: Love this race, third time I've run it.
In full: This is the third year I have run this race and my quickest time so far. This year the race was organised by Nike but I feel not as well as previous years. Be prepared to dodge round other runners especially at the water stations, there was a lack of marshals handing out water especially at the second station which caused people to stop running to collect a bottle which then caused a hold up. After the race it's the usual procedure of making you way back to the baggage collection points, here not only do you collect your baggage but your medal and goody bag, it would make more sense to put the medals into the goody bags before hand. We received a voucher for the commemorative t-shirt in our race packs but to collect this t-shirt you had to make your way across the flow of runners that were finishing and coming up the steps towards the baggage bays, plus the men then had to work their way through the ladies to as their t-shirts were in the opposite tent, surely it would have been better to place the t-shirt collection at the far end of the baggage bays which would have kept the crowds of runners moving in one direction. Apart from these small niggles I would really recommend this run, it's a great way to take in some of London's famous sights.

In short: A bit of a let down.
In full: This was my second marathon but first time running Edinburgh. The first ten miles and the last five miles were good with great crowd support but the middle section of the race takes you away from the crowds and it's a long time running with no support. The parking needs to be addressed, we paid for race course parking (£6) but when my partner arrived in the afternoon he was told the car park was shut even though the ticket clearly said from 1pm. More marshals needed and more first aid. The locals were great getting their hoses out to keep us cool on a very warm day. This was quite expensive to enter and I was disappointed to find I had to download the information pack and print it off, even our smaller local races manage to send everything through the post.

In short: Best 10K
In full: I have run quite a few 10K races, this was my first time running this event and I was very impressed with the organisation. Manchester is a great city to run around, the course is fairly flat and quick, good for PB's.Highly recommend.

In short: Great first 10k of the season
In full: First time I have ran this event, thoroughly enjoyed myself. The start is a little slow due to narrow path but once you get going its fine. The are some tasty hills to climb but don't be put off. Very well marshalled, km markers at every km, drinks station at 5k. Will run it again next year, give it a go.
