In short: faultless - one of the best running events in the UK In full: the organizers, volunteers and good people of Reading deserve every credit for an excellent event...especially considering the weather. Every entrant received a foldout map of the venue, car park locations, courtesy buses and course etc...so some of the comments about poor signage and not being able to find this and that, totally bemuse me!
Great event Reading - thank you and well done!f Date of review: March 19, 2013

In short: Excellent - top run In full: Absolutely enjoyed this one. Fast; PB thanks very much. Friendly organisation - everyone really great. Great location, car parking, changing, hot showers, loos, refreshments...etc etc. Good to get a t-shirt rather than a medal. Thanks - will definitely do again. Date of review: December 9, 2012

In short: a beautiful beast of a run! In full: First time for me - and thanks to guy who put a film of last year's race on YouTube...helped me to prepare. I'd recommend this event as a "must do" but don't underestimate it! My thanks to all each and everyone who organised, marshalled and cared & fed us...the sausage rolls in particular were fab! 2012 Pharmalink Maidenhead Half Marathon

In short: enjoyable despite awkward start In full: Credit to the organisers for doing their best to rectify most of the challenges from last year, (I thought the baggage drop team worked really hard and as best they could). Once away from the town centre it's a flat, fast, pb potential and enjoyable course. Excellent town centre location; good car parks, public transport, cafes etc - and I guess the price you pay for that in Maidenhead is a narrow and bunched start and having to use an underpass. It'll be interesting to see how this can be resolved for next year. Date of review: September 16, 2012

In short: Run in the Sun! In full: For me; local, very well organised and enjoyably challenging trail run through lovely Berkshire countryside. Thank you marshals and volunteers - especially for the cold sponges at the finish! Date of review: September 9, 2012

In short: Bravo Stoke Row...simply excellent! In full: in my opinion this was an excellent event - one of the best. Good pre-race communication, easy car park, friendly welcome, fun warm-up, great coffee van, very generous goodie bag, brilliant marshalls and a serious run. If Carlsberg did 10k's, they'd have to be as good as this...! Date of review: May 20, 2012

In short: Thank you London! In full: Just the best. Knocked 42 mins off my time last year so well chuffed. An amazing event bringing the best from everyone involved. Only moan is the t-shirt...but my daughter has pinched it for a nightshirt...so we're happy! Inspirational! Date of review: April 23, 2012

2012 Maidenhead Easter 10

In short: Great start to the Easter holidays! In full: Apart from a slightly delayed start, I was completely oblivious to any other issues so for me an excellent event. The course personally suited me and I think the benefits of the business park (e.g. accessibility, ample parking, space for facilities) completely outweighed any negatives (I can’t think of any!) The marshals and water stations were top notch and I completely agree with a previous post; the young helpers were a credit! No plastic goodie bag at the end; instead a really good t-shirt (which I and quite a few others were wearing at this morning’s Reading Park Run) and a Mars Bar – simply perfect. Results and photos were available online later in the day. 24 hours later I stand by everything I’ve written – excellent event Maidenhead AC, well done. Happy Easter and see you next year Date of review: April 7, 2012

2012 Race Your Pace Half Marathon

In short: I knew what to expect... In full: The reviewers before me have said it all really. I had received an email the previous day advising a change to the parking arrangements and having attended last year, anticipated problems and arrived early. The race it was it is - half PB potential or fine tune your marathon pace. Pacers were excellent and I personally liked the routine course. Date of review: February 19, 2012

In short: enjoyable & rewarding In full: a friendly event in the Oxfordshire countryside...makes the steady 3k hill at the end worthwhile. Thank you to the organisers, great marshals and youngsters at the water stations! Date of review: January 8, 2012
