In short: Well organised friendly and enjoyable race
In full: Starts with an up hill. Ends with a down hill. Nice scenery. Great support from marshals and also from locals. Competitors mainly club runners and all friendly too! Nice atmosphere. Hope to be back next year.

In short: Love this race.
In full: Beer in the goodie bag much appreciated.
Introduction of Red and Blue teams this year was a nice touch and added to the inclusive family atmosphere (as did the names on the running numbers). Hubby and I have done this two years in a row now and intend to keep it as part of our Christmas celebrations. Long may it continue!

In short: Great fun, friendly atmosphere, hilly!
In full: I was expecting a steep downhill at the start (as I'd heard about last year) but the start was moved to the bottom of the hill. A wise move I think as there was a large crowd to get started and it could have been dangerous. This, however, meant that the race was more uphill than down with a flat(ish) last mile that allowed me to make up for some of my slower bits on the hills. The finish was a long bend on wet grass and I was glad of the grip offered by my trail shoes.
The pre-race massage by the man from The Sports Therapy Room was much appreciated and I recommend him to anyone in the Leighton Buzzard area.
Great race, well organised by the small team from Dirt Running. Some awesome views from the top of the Chilterns.

In short: Excellent race
In full: Well organised, friendly race with plenty of local support. Marshalling was very well done and lots of encouragement given to all. Chip to chip timing was great and results available almost immediately! Hills in second half made for an 'interesting' challenge without making the run too hard for the first timer.

In short: Well organised, friendly and a great way to run off the Christmas excesses.
In full: Very well organised (particularly the pre-bookable car parking). Great marshalling, nice family atmosphere combined with a serious race feel. Organisers are proposing changes to the format next year with a choice of shorter races and a main race of 4 miles. A main race of 4 miles sounds like a good idea, just that bit extra, more scenery and longer to enjoy the atmosphere.
