In short: Flat course by the Thames in early Autumn. Glorious!!! In full: A really charming race in Richmond. The course quickly gets to the river (by a slow staircase unfortunately) but after that it's pure speed down the towpath with a large turnaround in a park before back on yourself. Also as it's along the Thames the same scenery doesn't feel like a chore in anyway. Would highly recommend. Date of review: September 8, 2014
In short: Really well organised 10k around the country lanes of St Albans In full: Had a really fun time running through the country lanes. The organisation was simply superb with loads of happy marshalls. Would recommend it highly especially as you don't often get a wooden medal! Date of review: May 12, 2014
In short: Fast, flat, fabulous fens In full: A lovely flat course. Really well organised and fabulous marshalling throughout. The wind can be a bit tedious when it's in your face but other that that no complaints. Date of review: September 9, 2013
In short: Lovely race with a great medal In full: A great race. Did the 10k a few years ago so knew about the hill at the start but that didn't help me. Really friendly and fun. Not one for PBs if you don't race up hills but lovely with a great medal and tshirt Date of review: July 21, 2013
In short: Great race in beautiful countryside In full: Although the start at the Vauxhall Motors Rec Club on the flightpath of Luton airport isn't much to talk about the subsequent run through the Luton Hoo grounds is wonderful.
It's only a small race which adds to its charm but had loads of incredibly supportive marshalls throughout the course. A nice selection of items to finish too Date of review: October 17, 2011
