In short: PB Smashed In full: Well i smashed my PB by 20 mins+ to get down below 3:12 and the majority of the day was excellent. Just a couple of issues that could be improved: 1. Water stations - never experienced chaos like it, these areas needs to be stretched out so not everyone is trying to get them at the same spot and more people need to man these. I virtually had to stop at each station to get one to avoid being tripped. 2. Marker signs - the mile markers and signs for impending water stations need to be bigger. Heard alot of people saying they hadnt seen them and I missed quite a few.

In short: A lesson for others races In full: Apart from the wind this race was as perfect as ever. Everything organised perfectly before hand and on the day. The pedigree pen at the front is also an idea other races need to adopt. It only takes a bit of tape to seperate an area so those wanting to run a fast race don't have to fight their way through the masses. BUPA could do with using this for the Great Manchester Run. In short: Sort out the slow people!!! In full: Agreeing with many comments about having to weave through others. I can't understand why anyone who knows they will be going slowly would want to push their to near the front. People walking from the start as well!!! Hard to marshall but maybe a wave at the start just for people who can prove they have done a sub 40 minute 10k in the last 2 years. Link registration to the run britain website and it should be easy enough. I realise for many this is a once in a lifetime thing and done for charity but many do pay the huge fee to achieve a good time and go up against some of the best runners around. Having to be at the start line over an hour before the start to have any chance of a clear run isn't great especially in the baking sun.
