In short: Nice run - bit different
In full: This was the first time I'd done this race and I really enjoyed it. The t-shirt you get is a proper running tshirt, which was good. The kids loved the children's fun run! The course was v flat but there was quite a strong wind on the return to the start/finish. Lots of marshalls. The only thing I can moan about was the timing. The main race was 15min late starting but it was only because they'd had more ppl registering on the day than they thought so I can't grumble too much because it means more cash for the charity!

In short: Good route & volunteers, shame about the missing lucozade station and goody bag!
In full: First time I've done this race (despite being a sheffield resident) and I enjoyed it. The atmosphere was good and the volunteers did a great
job (except maybe being caught on the hop at the first station!!). The baggage area was well organised and finishing in DVS made for a nice ending. However I felt the event could have been better by: if a sports drink station is advertised they should do it. I was banking on this and ended up semi-hitting the wall. Also the goody bag was poor given the cost of the event and the fact it was a city centre HM (see the organisers of the Norwich HM - that was fantastic!). Also given the heat it would have been nice if the drinks at the end were obvious. I was disorientated and thirsty and couldn't see any water so then had to battle my way back to the baggage area through the crowds to get a drink from my bag. Will do it again but will take no chances and come better prepared next time!!!

In short: Nice flat run through the Norfolk countryside (& showground)
In full: I thought this was a great race and was pleasantly surprised by the amount of support from poeple in the hamlets we went through and in the showground. I'm from Sheffield so the inclines didn't really bother me although they made the last couple of miles a challenge! I got a PB so I wouldn't rule out getting a PB here (just make sure you do some hill training and you'll be right!)

The organisation was good for the race itself but leaving the car park was shocking - we waited ages and had 2 toddlers in the back of the car :(

In short: Cracking race.
In full: As a beginner I found this race to be very beginner-friendly. Lots of marshalls & car parks well signed. Nice touch having college students & teachers come to do massages - very much needed! I found this to be a friendly event so I would say to people scared of running in smaller events to give it a go because I found it more enjoyable than some of the larger events I've taken part in. The only downside was lack of ladies loos - I shall be using the men's portacabins next time!!
